I spend my life seeing

I am a Canadian photographer living on the west coast of British Columbia in North Vancouver, with my wife, son and dog. Oops, sorry...no dog, I forgot it's the neighbour's dog, which I guess is the next best thing. Starting at a young age I found photography more than just a hobby, knowing that photography would be my life's work. Photography is still my hobby as with most people I record my families growth and activities.

For more than 20 years I have specialized in producing the highest quality corporate, commercial and portrait/wedding photography. Every time I look through the lens I see the potential for capturing an exciting image. As one of Canada's premiere Platinum printers, I've brought the 19th Century into the 21st Century by building digital negatives for my Platinum and Polaplatino TM prints. New technologies are being developed on an almost daily basis, I am more excited about photography now, than I ever have been. A true freedom of expression.

Although it is difficult to see on the web, platinum prints do not look anything at all like black & white prints. Platinum prints have a broader and richer tonal range than black & white prints and greater permanence as well.
